When red-haired protagonist Adol Christin and his old blue-haired friend make a surprise return to the latter’s homeland of Felghana after an eight-year absence, it’s quickly apparent that things have changed dramatically. Hordes of vicious monsters roam the outskirts of the city, a volcano has suddenly become active for the first time in decades, and the county’s new lord has begun ruthlessly and inexplicably extorting money from the long-suffering citizens. While Dogi seeks answers from his former fighting master, Adol devotes himself to serving the citizens, only to find himself drawn into a world of political conspiracies, ancient legacies, and unthinkable taboos.

Originally conceived as a reimagining of the 16-bit console classic Ys III: Wanderers From Ys, the fan-favorite returns, remastered for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation as Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana.
