Continuing in the tradition of 1997's Super Mario 64 and 2002's Super Mario Sunshine, this 3D sandbox Mario game is packed with secrets and surprises, and Mario's new moves, like Cap Throw and Capture, offer gameplay experiences unlike anything you've ever experienced before. Prepare to discover strange and exotic locations far from the Mushroom Kingdom!

• Discover vast 3D kingdoms filled with secrets and surprises, including costumes for Mario and multiple ways to interact with the environments, whether you’re exploring in vehicles or as pixelated Mario.
• With his new friend Cappy, Mario can perform new moves, such as the cap throw, the cap jump and the capture. With the capture, Mario can take control of objects and enemies!
• Visit breathtaking new environments, like the skyscrapers of New Donk City, and encounter friends and villains both old and new as you try to stop Bowser’s plans.
• Also available at launch will be a set of three new amiibo (sold separately): Mario, Princess Peach and Bowser, all dressed in wedding attire. Some existing amiibo will also be compatible. You can tap compatible amiibo to receive in-game assistance, and some of them will unlock costumes for Mario!
