Loop 8: Summer of Gods

Play as Nini, who returns to Japan to visit the picturesque village of Ashihara in August 1983. Explore the village, befriend its residents, and take on the Kegai in turn-based battles, where the outcome depends on your relationships and the decisions you make. Use Nini's special bond with the gods to reboot the world; with each cycle, Nini and her allies can endlessly relive the eighth month of the year until they achieve victory... or the Kegai overwhelm them.

Build bonds with the citizens of Ashihara as you protect the village from the constant threat of the Kegai, and restart the cycle to discover how your actions impact battles in the Overworld and vice versa.

Loop8’s emotion-based AI system reacts to every action you take and every decision you make. Characters’ emotions and stories will change dramatically based on your choices, making each playthrough completely unique.

• A picturesque view of rural Japan

The adventure is set in a nostalgic and beautiful reconstruction of a rural Japanese town. Dine at a local restaurant in the center or visit the shops to strengthen your bond with the other characters.

Although the end of humanity is ever closer, the fate of Ashihara is in your hands. Keep returning to the beginning of August, adjust your actions, and watch as they change the flow of fate in multiple endings.
