Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a multiplayer game for all skill levels. Four Ghostbusters armed with proton packs will try to catch a Ghost haunting unique locations in asymmetrical multiplayer challenges, online or offline. As players play, they will unlock cosmetics and upgrades for Ghostbusters and Ghosts to expand their gameplay experience. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this world and bring your ghost-busting fantasies to life. The game is easy to learn and fun for Ghostbusters and Ghosts to master!

This game is an asymmetrical hide-and-seek game. In keeping with previous IllFonic titles, players will engage in a 4-on-1 match where they can play as a new member of the Ghostbusters or a Ghost. The game can be played alone or with up to four friends. The single-player mode will be available both online and offline, where other players will be controlled by AI.

Fans will find all the iconic gear and gadgets, such as proton packs, PKE meters and ghost traps, in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, while newcomers can discover the world by playing as a Ghostbuster. Ghosts have a variety of abilities at their disposal, including possession of objects, throwing ectoplasm at will and more to make haunting a real blast. Additionally, many will recognize the Fire Station and Ray's Occult Books store, the two hubs in the game. Here, players will choose missions, customize characters, practice with proton packs and explore every option the game has to offer. And yes, the original actors from the film will reprise their roles as Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddemore, along with some new friends!
