It is the year 2090, a time when global conflicts are fought using massive war machines called Wanzers. Huffman Island, the only place where the Oceania Cooperative Union (OCU) and the Unified Continental States (UCS) border, is the real hotbed of conflict.
An OCU reconnaissance team led by Captain Royd Clive is assigned to investigate a UCS munitions factory. Unfortunately, they are ambushed by the UCS. The Wanzers set off a chain of events that plunge the entire island into a terrible war. During the fighting, Royd's girlfriend, Lieutenant Karen Meure, mysteriously disappears.
Discharged from the military, Royd sets out to find out what happened to Karen. His mission will lead him ever closer to the conspiracy behind his companion's disappearance and the powers that organized it.
