You play as Gregory, a boy who has been locked in Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex all night. Aided by Freddy Fazbear himself, Gregory must survive a nearly relentless pursuit of the all-new Five Nights at Freddy's characters... and horrifying new threats.

• HUNTERS AND THE PREY - As soon as the nighttime protocols kick in, the animatronics of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex will relentlessly hunt down any intruders. If necessary, Glamrock Chica, Roxanne Wolf, Montgomery Gator, and Vanessa (the Pizzaplex security guard) will knock over every Cotton Candy Pizza stand. It's not wise to stay in one spot for too long.
• ADAPT TO SURVIVE - Access the building's security cameras to scan the environment and plan your route through the hazards. Knock over paint cans and toys to distract enemies, but get out of the way before they reach you. Jump into hiding places to let danger pass or try to outrun your pursuers. Play however you want, but be prepared to adapt.
• EXPLORATION AND DISCOVERY - Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex features a variety of attractions for its visitors: Monty Golf, Roxy Raceway, Bonnie Bowl, the sewers, and... wait, 'the sewers'? The Pizzaplex is very large and has no shortage of things to discover.
