The world is in the hands of the Shinra Electric Power Company, which is harnessing the lifeblood of the planet as energy. In the vibrant city of Midgar, the Avalanche group puts up a fierce resistance and enlists the aid of the mercenary Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER member now working for Shinra. Cloud accepts, and they embark on an epic adventure.
The first game in this project, a spectacular contemporary reimagining of one of the most groundbreaking RPGs in history, will be set in the eclectic city of Midgar and will be a complete, standalone gaming experience.
