Our story begins in a corner of Allraan, a patchwork of many lost nations and cultures gathered into one land.
At the point of the sword and with the use of enchanted objects known as 'rune lenses,' the history of this land has been forged by alliances and aggressions between humans, beastmen, elves, and the desert peoples who reside there.

The Empire of Galdea has gained an edge over other nations by discovering a technology that amplifies the power of the rune lenses.

Now, the Empire is scouring the continent, searching for an artifact that will increase their power even further.
It is during one of these expeditions that Seign Kesling, a promising young Imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet and become friends.

Soon, however, an unexpected twist of fate will drag them straight into the fires of war, and force them to reevaluate everything they hold as right and true.
